Ah yes, the modern love story.

Guy DM's girl, girl responds, a first date follows and in the blink of an eye we find ourselves here. Both the happiest we have ever been and absolutely thrilled for our big walk down the aisle.

We first started messaging each other on Instagram in the summer of 2021 and have never stopped talking since.

We spent a couple of weeks getting to know each other through Instagram and texting before finally going on our first date.

Juuuuust F.Y.I. it only took that long because she canceled on me twice before finally agreeing to see me (she's lucky she didn't cancel a third time).

Ok, ok, back to the story.

We went out to dinner on August 15th, 2021 to Mesa Street Grill.

My breath was taken away when she came to the door after I had knocked on it to pick her up. She looked absolutely stunning.

We had the restaurant to ourselves. I told her I rented it out for her...but I don't think she bought it. Time stood still. The conversation flowed so effortlessly. Nothing else mattered. We were both fully encompassed in learning about one another.

Then, in what felt like an instant later, the wait staff was kicking us out of the restaurant. To be fair, they allowed us to stay over an hour after closing. 4 incredible hours had flown by before we knew it.

“I’m going to marry this woman”, I whispered to myself after I dropped her off.
